I am a ceramic artist living and working in Battle Ground, Washington who does both hand built and wheel-thrown work.  I love gardening and feel a strong connection with nature.   My designs reflect plants and flowers, many of which are found in my garden, and are carved, imprinted or added onto the clay when it is still moist.  Each design is original and intended to compliment the form of the work.   Following the initial firing to dry the clay, the finished pots are then covered with a colored transparent or matt glaze that enhances the design and then fired in an electric kiln.   My designs are displayed on decorative vessels and wall tiles.
